Today’s weather shows no evidence of yesterday’s tornados, thunderstorms or flash floods.  The sun is out today and I am feeling the Spring in the air.  Spring is on its way and it’s arrival often bring the beauty out of everything that you see. The trees reclaim their color, homes are cleaned thoroughly and white shoes are restocked on the shoe rack.   Now I love seeing the trees with color again and I love the fresh clean scent of a freshly clean house; however I refuse to wear those hideous white shoes.  I do not know why I can not seem to embrace Spring by wearing the popular white shoes, I guess the gesture reminds me to much of the stereotypical Milk Man image from the classic days. Believe me when I tell you, I have tried purchasing the infamous white shoes.  However, when I see them on my feet, I would rather watch the flowers bloom and clean my apartment instead.  So, if you are enjoying this beautiful Spring-like day, and you are looking for something to do, then you should buy yourself a pair of those hideous white shoes.  Holla at me if you love or hate your hideous white shoes.  What’s your point of view?  -Ericka

Wow! Have you ever wonder to yourself, why me? Well, I have and I have decided that life can be somewhat like your favorite cookie. My favorite cookie is chocolate chip and when my life is not going according to my plan, I actually feel like someone gave me a chocolate chip cookie without the chips.  Yesterday, I blogged about my quest to lose a few pounds, so you can pretty much guess that I really do not need any chocolate chip cookies anyway.  Well, back to the current subject.  Sometimes, when life is feeling like that favorite cookie of yours and it is without that main ingredient, then just think…. more than likely God knew you did not need it anyway.

What’s your point of view.  -Ericka

Ok. I am starting a blog and it is right during the time that I am trying to lose a few pounds.  I really do not know… wait a minute (ha! ha!), I do know how these extra pounds became a part of my anatomy wardrobe. It all started one day, when I decided to eat a Honey Bun and it went down hill from there. After accessing the change in my clothing size, I decided to walk my pounds off and so far, so good.  I try to walk each day for 1 -2 hours and eat oatmeal or fruit for breakfast.  Believe me it is hard to cut my caloric intake, but a girl’s has to do what she has to do.  I invite you to give me some ideas on how to speed this process or share your weight loss journey with me. I look forward to hearing your point of view.  -Ericka
